Back to Gullak

Delete your data

It's quick. It's permanent. It's in your hands.

Gullak has no accounts.

We don't run a server. There is no email or password tied to your data. Everything you've saved — your gullaks, transactions, name, photo — lives only on your device. That means you can wipe it yourself in seconds, without us being in the loop.

1

Clear data inside the app

  1. Open Gullak on your phone.
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Clear data (in red).
  4. Confirm Clear data in the bottom sheet.

This deletes every gullak, every transaction, your name, your avatar, and your settings. You'll be returned to onboarding, like a fresh install.

2

Uninstall the app

Long-press the Gullak icon on your home screen and choose Uninstall (Android) or Remove App → Delete App (iOS). The operating system removes the app's private storage along with it.

Still want us to confirm?

Because we don't have a copy of your data, there's nothing for us to delete on our end. But if you'd like a confirmation reply for your records, drop us a line and we'll respond within 7 days.

Common questions

Can I get my data back after Clear data?

No. Clearing data is permanent. There is no cloud backup, no undo. If you're not sure, take a screenshot of your gullaks first.

Will my data sync to a new phone if I install Gullak there?

Not today. Gullak is intentionally offline-only in this version. A new install starts fresh.

Does deleting an individual gullak delete its transactions?

Yes — deleting a single gullak removes its history with it. Breaking a gullak is different: it closes the gullak but keeps the transactions visible in History.
