1. Acceptance
By installing or using Gullak ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. The app
Gullak is a personal savings tracker. The numbers you enter are a reflection of your real-world savings — Gullak does not hold or move any money. It's a notebook, not a bank.
3. Your data
Everything you enter is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your own data if you want it preserved across uninstalls or device changes.
We do not, and cannot, recover your data if you uninstall the app or tap Clear data.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Gullak on devices you own or control, for personal (non-commercial) use.
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.
- Re-publish, sell, rent, or sublicense the app.
- Remove copyright or attribution notices.
5. Disclaimer
Gullak is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any data will be preserved.
Gullak is not financial advice. Saving toward a goal in the app does not produce returns, interest, or any financial product.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gullak and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including, but not limited to, loss of data.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page (and in the app where appropriate). Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of India.
